While Users are unable to download images or check voice notes on Whatsapp chat.

Text Messegers are still being sent and received smoothly over Whatsapp messenger. Error has apparently only disturbed media files transfer over the network.

This bug has effected overs globally, millions of Facebook and Whatsapp users are effected by the error.

The error was first noticed by HowTechyy when images for post on our Facebook page where not appearing. After trying many times, We tried Whatsapp media as well. Whatsapp media was also down and pictures and voice messages were not working at all displaying this error.

Why you cant download any images on Whatsapp messenger?

Whatsapp and Facebook services are experiencing anew bug due to which media sending and receiving is disturbed on these social sharing platforms.

Even Images or Videos which are sent on Facebook messenger effected by Bug in Facebook.

Facebook Images Not Working

According to the outage monitoring website Down Detector, complaints were especially from the UK and South America. While the amount of accounts for a WhatsApp failure was comparatively restricted, this could be a result of the strange particular nature of the issue.

Why Whatsapp is Down? Facebook Media files not working?

This may have caused due to Features updates Facebook is getting. One of Facebook/Whatsapp microservices, which is responsible to hold and transmit media files data smoothly, is being updated due to which downtime or delay has occurred.

This why Pages on Facebook are unable to post/upload pictures to their posts. Posts are shown without any image and a white screen with broken image appears instead like this :

• Since Facebook is Down, No Image, Spreadsheet, word Doc. files or videos are working on platform.
• Users can see and interact with previously uploaded files and images although new data cannot be seen.
• Text format posts and comments are smoothly working with Facebook as well.
